GREAT BARRIER REEF TOUR ITINERARY

Our 3-Day Great Barrier Reef Tours are designed for everyone, including backpackers, singles and couples.

Day 1:

• Depart Gold Coast 6:00am, Brisbane 7:10 am
• Pick-up Sunshine Coast Big Pineapple 8:30 am
• See amazing views on your road trip to the Reef
• Lunch at Bundaberg
• 2:30 Arrive at 1770 / Agnes Water - Check into Resort
  
• Enjoy optional activities such as Surf Lessons, Scootaroos, Thundercat Rides, Kayaking and Sunset Amphibious vehicle cruise. (According to Tour Guide Directions and availability).
• OR Enjoy FREE Activities such as swimming at the beach or pool, body Surfing or relaxing on the beach.
• Dinner back at Resort
• Spend the night on the beach or night life at the Resort.

Day 2:

• Breakfast
• Depart on the Spirit of 1770 for Lady Musgrave Island for our day on the Coral lagoon. Lunch on board the boat. Optional Diving. Optional Deep Sea Fishing.
• FREE Sunset Tour if time and weather permits
• Dinner back at Resort
• Spend the night on the beach or night life at the Resort.

Day 3

• Breakfast
• Depart Resort and go to beach, enjoy optional Surfing Lesson, Swimming, Thundercat Rides and more, (According to Tour Guide Directions and availability).
• Depart 1770
• Stop at Bundaberg for lunch
• Drive past Glasshouse Mountains
• HOME
• 6:30 Brisbane

Important Information

Sunset Safaris makes every effort to include ALL activities and destinations listed. However due to the extreme nature of the Agnes Water Coastline, and weather unpredictability in general, some activities are subject to Tide, Time, and Weather factors, and Sunset Safaris can not be held liable due to these factors.

PAYMENT
Your Tour payment is broken up into 2 components, your Sunset Safaris ticket price component ($299), and your Boat Access & Reef Tax component ($170). The Fraser Island - National Park Fees, and Boat Access & Reef Tax component of $170 must be paid in CASH to driver upon departure, while the $299 boarding pass can be purchased HERE on this web site.

CANCELLATION POLICY DUE TO STONG WINDS
Occasionally strong winds will cause the cancellation of the boat that takes us to the Great Barrier Reef. Sunset Safaris will always endeavour to cancel or postpone the excursion to the Town of 1770 before time of departure if winds are too strong.
However, due to the unpredictability of winds, we may arrive at the Town of 1770, and be told by the boat company that the trip has been cancelled. In the uncommon event that this occurs, Sunset Safaris will refund the total sum of the purchase price of the Boat ticket and reef tax ($170) at the town of 1770. A range of other activities such as snorkelling and diving in sheltered waters, sea kayaking, surfing, amphibious vehicle rides, and much more may be arranged by Sunset Safaris Staff at 1770, and these optional activities are then payable by the customer.

CUSTOMER CANCELATIONS
Cancellations with less than 24 Hours notice incurs a 100% cancellation fee.
Cancellations with less than 72 hours, but not less than 24 hours, incurs a 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellations with less than 7 days notice, but not less than 72 hours notice incurs a $25% cancellation fee.
Cancellations not less than 7 Days notice will incur a 5% cancellation fee (administrative processing).
